Jon Dron
Jon Dron is a member of the Technology Enhanced Knowledge Research Institute, where he is a member of the social learning technologies group, and Professor and Chair in the School of Computing and Information Systems, Athabasca University. He is also an Honorary Faculty Fellow in the Centre for Learning and Teaching, University of Brighton, UK. Jon has received national and local awards for his teaching, is author of various award-winning research papers and of the book ‘Control & Constraint in E-Learning: Choosing When to Choose‘.

Terry Anderson
Terry Anderson is a member of the Technology Enhanced Knowledge Research Institute, where he is a member of the social learning technologies group, and Emeritus Professor in the Centre for Distance Education at Athabasca University. He teaches in AU’s Masters and Doctoral programs focussing on Distance Education theory and technologies. He is a well-known researcher and innovator in distance education, prolific author of numerous books and papers, regular keynote speaker, former holder of a Canada Research Chair in Distance Education, past editor of IRRODL and founder of CIDER. His book ‘The Theory and Practice of Online Education‘ was winner of the Charles A Wedermeyer Award and has a second new book Online Distance Education: Towards a Research Agenda.
